## [Frontier AI Governance course](https://aisafetymontreal.org/courses/frontier-ai-governance/)

A 6-week cohort for anyone who wants to work on how frontier AI is governed: assess the evidence, map the institutions and power around it, compare strategies, and plan how you can contribute.

- **When**: Tuesdays, 6 to 9 PM, November 17 to December 22, 2026, at Ω Labs
- **Time commitment**: About 6 to 7 hours a week, in person every week
- **Cohort**: 12 people
- **Language**: English (materials and sessions)
- **Facilitators**: Orpheus Lummis and Étienne Langlois

A 5-week introductory cohort for anyone who wants to upskill in AI safety and get a clearer view of the field, and of their own place in it.

## [AI Safety Technical Fundamentals](https://aisafetymontreal.org/courses/technical-fundamentals/)

A free, in-person study program to build the technical skills for AI safety work: every Saturday at Ω Labs, you work through the sections of the ARENA materials that fit your goals, with an instructor and peers alongside you.

- **When**: Saturdays, 9 AM to 5 PM, November 21, 2026 to March 6, 2027, at Ω Labs
- **Time commitment**: Every Saturday until your plan is done
- **Language**: English (materials and sessions)
- **Cost**: Free, meals provided; refundable $300 deposit
